Offical Opening Ceremony

Mimmi Brinkmann, the Hardter Original

The social centre of the Hardt was, of course, the Kleinespel Hall "Saal Kleinespel", which served as an emergency church after the war, enabling the first services of the protestant community of the Hardt to be held there and in which not only political discussions took place but where, for generations, true dramas developed in the dance courses on the dance floor, all of which was clearly portrayed in the Mayor's poem and in Mimmi Brinkmann's comments.

That's why, for many, the name Kleinespel doesn't just make them think of fine bread and cakes but also of dancing classes in the Kleinespel Ballroom "Saal Kleinespel", which led, as can be proved, to many marriages,
